Philly tweaker Mincemeat or Tenspeed makes unlikely dance music from the sound of skipping distortion pedals and mixer feedback. At once funky, noisy, beautiful, and overwhelming, it’s a wash of sound somewhere between Fuck Buttons cuddlegaze, Black Dice beatsquish, and Amps For Christ’s soaring circuitry. In a show curated by Baltimore dance mutant Shams, they’re joined by similarly demented groove/noize detours Nero’s Day at Disneyland, Chaos Majik, and Frankie Martin.
