This past February, after a 9-year absence, Seattle garage-punks Murder City Devils played a reunion show in the 7,000-seat Nokia Theatre, but it felt like a small-club gig thanks to the frenzied crowd. The last time they played the city before that, it was at CBGB’s, and tonight’s long sold-out, sure-to-be-sweaty show at the 200-capacity Maxwell’s will have more in common with then.
