Proof that the Great Recession has a silver lining, Brad Estabrooke, who lost his job in finance in 2008, is today opening the doors of his brand-new gin distillery near the Gowanus waterfront. A tour of the distillery, with its grain mill, copper still, and fermentation tank, will also be offered to anyone who’s interested.
