Days — even hours — before his daughter’s “wedding of the millenium,” and despite various official and informal vows of secrecy, our former Prez and Chelsea’s pop showed up on the streets of Rhinebeck. And the crowds went wild. Bill, we dare say this does not bode well for “not upstaging Chelsea’s wedding.”
Bill granted the following informational tidbits to the clamoring crowd:
“We’re all fine.”
“We love it here,” he said. “Chelsea loves the area as well.”
“She’s doing well.”
What about that son-in-law-to-be?
“I like him very much,” the popular Democrat said, picking up more people with each passing step. “I really do. I admire him. Hillary feels the same way.”
Clinton also made sure to walk around the restaurant where he dined to shake hands, allowed time for cell phone pics with his fans, and “took a moment to comfort a little girl who got jostled by the huge crowd but broke into a huge grin after the former president asked her name and whether she was all right.”
Once a politician, always a politician.
