Yesterday’s Where Am I Eating? contest was won handily by ERF, who knew that the foodstuff pictured above is a lobster summer roll from Hot Bird, Alan Harding’s food truck parked in the outdoor courtyard of the bar of the same name.
Though the roll is messy, easily rupturing and spilling its slippery rice noodles, mint, kimchi juice, and chunks of lobster everywhere, it’s also generously portioned — the size of a small burrito — and is a cooling, tasty hot-weather bar snack.
