Hewlett-Packard CEO Mark Hurd has reportedly resigned after an investigation of sexual harassment claims made by a former contractor. He’ll be replaced by CFO Cathie Lesjak on an interim basis. While the company says that the investigation found no violations of sexual harassment policy, HP standards of business conduct were violated.
According to a statement made by Hurd, he “realized there were instances in which I did not live up to the standards and principles of trust, respect and integrity that I have espoused at HP.”
And, yes, we said probe.
