Though not a regular correspondent on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, comedian Jim Gaffigan did once appear on the program as the ridiculously-named character Edward R. Brokaw-Amanpour, a wannabe anchorman who snuck on the show after being inspired by the White House party crashers the Salahis. Tonight, Gaffigan (who famously does a killer routine about microwavable Hot Pockets) won’t need to slip by any bouncers as he is officially on the list as a special guest of The Daily Show and Friends, a night of stand-up comedy with the show’s writers, producers, and friends. Hosted by producer Rory Albanese, the evening also includes Adam Lowitt and Jenna Kim Jones.
