Pamela Elizabeth (formerly Blackwell) is clearly a woman with expansion on her mind: The owner of the burgeoning Blossom vegan restaurant empire, she opened Cocoa V, a vegan truffle and wine bar, last December, and later that month added a third location of Blossom to her portfolio. And now she tells us that on September 22, she’ll open the first outpost of Blossom Du Jour, a vegan counter and takeaway.
With a tagline of “Shrewd Fast Food,” Blossom Du Jour will offer fresh juices, salads, burgers, wraps, potpies, soups, sweets, soft-serve, and sandwiches. The menu will also feature various gluten- and soy-free and raw options.
Blossom Du Jour’s first location will be in Chelsea; a second is scheduled to follow in November. Both will be open seven days a week and provide delivery and catering in addition to counter service and takeaway.
