In January, following his abrupt departure from the Four Seasons, Fabio Trabocchi hinted that he would be moving his family back to Washington, D.C. But as Diner’s Journal reports, the owners of Villa Pacri have persuaded the chef to stay here, at least for the time being: He’s been hired as the consulting corporate chef at the Meatpacking District restaurant complex. Trabocchi will be developing an “Italian-accented menu” with Daniele Sicuranza, who worked as the chef at the original Pacri in St. Barts before coming to New York. Trabocchi’s contract runs out at the end of the year; no word yet on whether his time in New York will as well.
