Talk about fast turnaround time: Almost immediately after he closes Kampuchea, Ratha Chaupoly will reopen the restaurant as Bun & Co. Grub Street reports it will be a “sandwich bar and grill” featuring hot dog buns from Parisi Bakery that will be stuffed with fillings including meatballs, hot dogs, shrimp, liver, and ginger-barbecue pulled pork. House-made toppings will include rum bacon, chives, and coleslaw, and there will also be seasonal relishes. Everything will be priced between $4 and $7.25, and the place will stay open until 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday to cater to the neighborhood’s night crawlers.
