• New York Fashion Week starts today at Lincoln Center after 17 years at Bryant Park. The new digs are about 30 percent bigger than the old. [NYT]

• Derek Jeter is selling his Trump Tower loft in Turtle Bay. Asking price: $20 million. [NYDN]

• The Council on American-Islamic Relations will reportedly hold a news conference today to discuss their “Learn, Don’t Burn” initiative, which includes distributing 200,000 Korans to replace the 200 that Terry Jones plans to burn on the anniversary of 9/11. • Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady was in a car accident in Boston earlier today at the corner of Commonwealth and Gloucester. Reportedly, the jaws of life were used — it’s unclear if on him or another person — but Brady did not go to the hospital. [NBC NY]

• A Staten Island mom says her daughter, Lina Morgana, who committed suicide, inspired Lady Gaga, and she wants Gaga to give credit. She’s also trying to release the songs Lina recorded with Gaga prior to her death. [NYP]

• Lourdes Ciccone Leon (a/k/a, Madonna’s kid) has started school as a freshman at LaGuardia High. [NYDN]
