Police Seek Bike-Riding Manhattan Bank Robber

This man, apparently, would not take no for an answer. After being denied any cash by the tough-as-nails tellers at the Chase Bank at 615 Eighth Avenue on August 11, he quickly (within 10 minutes!) hit up the Sovereign at 260 West 52nd Street, where he received an unknown amount of money and fled on bicycle. Police are now asking for help locating him.

He’s a white male aged 35 through 49, 5’10” to 6’0″, 220 to 240 lbs, and was wearing a white T-shirt and khaki shorts, and carrying a black messenger bag. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
