Food52, the recipe website launched by food writers Amanda Hesser and Merrill Stubbs, has introduced a new Twitter-powered cooking hotline for when you’re “in a pickle,” aptly called Foodpickle.
To use it, you tweet @foodpickle and your question, and, hopefully, other tweeting home cooks will offer you their advice. So far, the questions range from “Impulse purchased some rosewater. Recipe suggestions?” to “Will TSA let me fly with a baked pie?” And then, of course, there are the poor, technically challenged folks who haven’t figured out how many words you can get out of 140 characters whose questions are cut off halfway through. Bless them.
