Hudson Mohawke updates IDM for the dubstep age, making sounds that are equal parts bass, melody, and crazy, and that are as much at home on the seminal Warp label as on a Mary Anne Hobbs installment–or behind Rihanna and Erykah Badu. With fellow wonky bass Glaswegian (and Warp artist) Rustie, Harlem hip-hop destroyer Mike Slott, the Blessings, Eclair Fifi, Jacques Greene, Lunice, Machine Drum, Cubic Zirconia, and Azaelia Banks.
