NYPD Release Video of Subway Robber


The police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who has held up women three times at knifepoint on the subway. The incidents occurred August 7 on the A train at 127th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue, August 27 on the A at Broadway and Dyckman, and September 12 on the 2 train at 96th and Broadway. In the last instance, the victim was stabbed in her left side during a struggle for the bag. The police have released video of the suspect, after the jump.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s, approximately 6’0″ and 175 lbs., wearing blue jean shorts, a white T-shirt, and black sneakers. If you have any information, call NYPD Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
