Keith McNally showed up at the monthly Community Board 2 meeting to provide some more information about what he intends to do with the former Village Paper space on Greenwich Avenue. Eater was also there and reports that McNally wants to turn it into Pulino’s Café, a smaller version of Pulino’s. His plans, however, didn’t sit well with the 14 community members who showed up to voice their concerns about potential noise and crowding issues, as well as the fact that there are already 25 licensed establishments in the vicinity of the space. Ultimately, the board decided that more debate is necessary — and given that this is a McNally project, there’s certain to be plenty of them.
