Aquavit, whose chef Marcus Jernmark took over late last year with a vision to re-Scandinavianize the menu, is venturing into new territory this weekend. It will start serving brunch this Saturday in the bistro, from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
So, what does a Scandi brunch look like?
Think Swedish waffles with cloudberry jam, Caesar salad with västerbotten cheese croutons and gravlax or skagen shrimp salad, and the requisite Mary, this one a Danish as opposed to a Bloody, made with aquavit. See the full menu here.
