She zig-zags between here and Israel, refining the way her fingers glide over the piano keys, looking for the kind of engaging interplay that still allows the lyrical side of her art to present itself–and she often finds it. And If, the new trio disc, manages to shimmer delicately without waxing limp. It may be more pointedly fey than its predecessor, but Fort keeps mere moods from defining the turf.
