If we weren’t in the post-millennium, it might be more impressive that this L.A. indie band got signed to a major label after just a few years of paying their dues. They’re tight but enough so to be considered slick and at their best, they can evoke the dynamics of the Thermals, if not the Pixies. At this point, they’re probably just a TV show or commercial song placement away from moving up to the next level. With the Dig.
