Pasticcio, a nearly 30-year-old Italian restaurant on Third Avenue and 31st Street, closed last year with the promise of reopening in early spring following renovations. As is often the case with these types of shutters, it didn’t reopen – and neither did Proseccheria, the little wine bar dedicated to Prosecco owner Nic Maurello opened at the back of the restaurant in the hopes of cashing in on the wine bar craze.
Now, a sign in the window announces that Teqa, a “taqueria/tequileria,” will soon open in the space.
