Join Brooklyn Brewery brewmaster, Garrett Oliver, for the eighth edition of this annual event. Each course in this $65 multi-course meal will be paired with a Brooklyn Brewery beer, such as cheddar beer soup paired with Brooklyn Pennant Pale Ale, shrimp wrapped with bacon and chipotle sauce paired with Brooklyn Sorachi Ace, and horseradish-encrusted filet mignon paired with Brooklyn Cuvée Noire.

If you think the bacon bubble has burst, think again. The Brooklyn Bacon Takedown is back with some 20 different amateur cooks going head-to-head for the title of best bacon recipe in the borough and a grand prize of, yep, more bacon. Each participant will be given 15 pounds of Hormel Black Label cured pork products to play with, while attendees get to walk around sampling the entries. So, regardless of who wins, everyone wins.
