Restaurants and bars, they come and they go. Here are a few making their debuts and bowing out this week.

It looks like Village Tart in Nolita is, in fact, closed for good. The shutter’s been down for a month, and now former employees have graffitied their grievances on the window.

Silk Road Palace on the Upper West Side, known for giving away unlimited boxed wine, appears to be shuttered, and calls to the restaurant are going unanswered.

Kings Plaza Diner in Mill Basin will close next week after 35 years in business. A rumor has been circulating that Bed Bath & Beyond is moving in.

After years of complaints from neighbors, Sin Sin in the East Village in finally closing its doors, saying they can no longer keep up with operating costs.

Julie Reiner’s much-anticipated tropical cocktail lounge, Lani Kai, has opened in the space that once housed Tailor. Expect mai tais, rum punches, and pu-pu platters.
