Add a little sex and scare to your supper with this ghoulishly themed evening of burlesque, hosted by Bastard Keith and the Sophisticates. There will be titillating entertainment, Victorian parlour games, and hot and spicy treats, including crab salad with broccoli, cured lemon, chili, palm sugar, and herbs; and a Flatiron Steak with lovage salsa verde and crispy potato. An open bar during the show is sure to lubricate you for the night.

Chef Wolfgang Ban and Eduard Frauneder invite you to experience their upscale version of Octoberbest with a $95 five-course menu of modern Austrian dishes, each paired with a Radeberger beer. Start with smoked walleye pike paired with Berliner Weisse, followed by veal sweetbreads and Hövels Hausbrauerei, pork sausage with Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier Märzen, and duck breast with Einbecker Urbock. Prost, indeed.

Saturday, October 23 at 11 a.m.

Fourth Arts Block, a non-profit organization that supports the arts in the East Village, invites you to eat some food and save the arts. The organization is hosting this tasting of 15 restaurants in the East Village, including Faustina, Luke’s Lobster, This Little Piggy Had Roast Beef, and Tuck Shop. Discounted refreshments will be provided by Jimmy’s No. 43, D.O.B., and Xoom Juice.
