Devo+the Drums

This year’s crappy Something for Everybody demonstrated that, at this late date, the members of Devo remain better “idea guys” than “song guys.” Live, they still muster the creepy-manic energy that once turned them into unlikely MTV stars. The Drums, from Brooklyn, just wrapped a North American tour with Surfer Blood and open here tonight before heading to Europe for the rest of the year. With Neon Trees.
