As you know, I’m co-producing Perfect Harmony, the Andrew Grosso-directed comedy about teen a cappella singers, which is playing at the Acorn on 42nd Street.
It’s a wry, satirical look at high school longings and neuroses — with a gay twist, of course — and the cast is so spot-on they all seem like future stars to me.
After the opening-night performance, Grosso (who wrote the show with the Essentials) gave a speech thanking all who’ve helped, and cited me for my hilarious sense of humor. You’re welcome, you’re welcome.
Anyway, I’ve linked the review from Curtain Up, which calls it “quirky and charming”! How perfectly harmonious.
