Until a new colleague is chosen for me, I’m in charge of the feature entitled Ask the Critics, which shall temporarily be called Ask the Critic.

So if you have any food-related question at all — such as “Where should I take my mother to dinner on Father’s Day?” or “Why does a teacup have a saucer with it?” or “How do I become a food critic?” — please shoot it over to me at, and I’ll attempt an answer.
