I Hobnobbed With Patty Duke, Fred Williamson, Theresa Russell…

And Lesley Ann Warren, Patrick Duffy, Barbara Eden, Sandahl Bergman, Nancy Allen, and tons more.

It was the Chiller Theater expo in Parsippany, New Jersey, where pals Mickey Boardman and Angelo Pitillo and I giddily trekked to hang with the culty and classic stars in a Jersey Hilton.

Debbie Reynolds had to cancel because of illness, alas. (Maybe she got sick when she saw her credits promoted as “Halloweentown High, Singin’ in the Rain” — in that order.)

But there were so many other human chestnuts there that this was clearly the motherlode.

It was like our movie club come to life — and I’ll have some anecdotes about the wacky experience in the next column.

In the meantime, here are Angelo and Mickey’s pix of Patty, Fred, Theresa, Sandahl, John Astin, and my beaming face.
