It seems that, with every year, Norwegian electronic music maker Hans-Peter Lindstrom flashes another side of his multifaceted skills. With partner Prins Thomas, he delved into noodly fusion jazz and krautrock. His collected singles showcased Scandinavian space-disco at its finest, and his debut album found him going into prog. For this year’s collaborative album with singer Christabelle, Real Life is No Cool, Lindstrom was just as comfortable doing bright, bouncy early-’80s r&b too.
