Kalhor, a virtuoso of the kamancheh spike fiddle, have long traveled the “silk road” connecting India and Iran’s musical cultures. Accompanied by tabla virtuoso Samir Chatterjee, they’ll spin their complex, deeply emotional, and often ecstatic improvisations around the ghazal poetry of their respective homelands.
