Back in early August, Kanye West made his Ustream debut, perching out on a Korean hotel balcony, the ocean stretching into the distance behind him. “I actually don’t know a rapper before me that liked white people more than me, in all honesty,” he said into the glow of his own computer screen, firing back at an anonymous chat member who had just called him a racist. “I don’t know a rapper that wore tighter jeans. I don’t know a rapper that collaborated with more white people.” Then he played a snippet of “All of the Lights,” the star-stuffed, Elton John-featuring (white people!) track that just happened to leak in full last night. Start to finish, it was amazing. And considering the week West is having, there is absolutely no reason to think his return to Ustream today at 4 p.m. will be anything less than equally memorable. Especially now that we’re just weeks away from the official release of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
