Back in 1999, I was sent to San Francisco to interview Patty McCormack onstage at the Castro Theater, which was filled with gays and straights and drag queens and all sorts of people, there to worship the nasty girl from The Bad Seed all grown up.

Here’s a newly posted clip of the preparations and arrival, including me making the sign of the cross as I was told I have to arrive down a steep hill via a lesbian motorcade.
