Momofuku May Be Going Down Under


Having already traveled north to Midtown, David Chang may be heading southwest. Far, far southwest: Following rumors in the Australian media that the chef would be opening an outpost of Momofuku in Sydney’s Star City casino next year, Pat Nourse, one of the country’s most prominent food writers, has Tweeted that “all signs are pointing to yes. Expect an announcement in the coming week.”

Unsurprisingly, our request for comment from Momofuku HQ has gone unanswered, but, as Shake Shack has taught us, sometimes no news is big news.
