“UPS Robber” Sought by NYPD

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who has worn a UPS uniform to attempt two gunpoint robberies on the Upper West Side, both on Friday, October 29, at West 147th and West 143rd Streets. The suspect, clad in the trademark brown uniform, produced a gun from his UPS utility pouch and demanded property. In both instances, the victims stated they had no money and he fled. The suspect was wearing headphones at the time of both robberies. Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. If you’re awaiting a package delivery, call UPS.
