Yes, in an attempt to set U.S./U.K. diplomatic relations back to a pre-Revolutionary War level, Snoop Dogg has announced that he’s written a song to commemorate Prince William’s last night as a free man. The song is called “Wet.” It will premiere later today on Snoop’s site. Try and guess the exact time.
That would be 4:20. Pacific. My goodness, this PR email is stupendous. To wit:
“When I heard the royal family wanted to have me perform in celebration of Prince William’s marriage [?????!!!!], I knew I had to give them a little something,” says Snoop. “‘Wet’ is the perfect anthem for Prince William or any playa to get the club smokin’.”
Also, once “Wet” surfaces, Snoop would like it if you sent him videos of yourself (and/or numerous sexy ladies) dancing to it; he will select a winner, who will receive a trip to the U.K. The objective here is to drum up interest in his new record, Doggumentary Music, out in March 2011, and sure to amuse and beguile dozens of white people. Add one more to that total.
