Satriani has made a career out of simultaneously satisfying both guitar geeks and headbangers, and his recent Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards doesn’t rock the boat much. Mike Keneally, an even better stunt guitarist, mans the keyboards in Satch’s new group, so there you go. Blues-rocker Evett plays a fretless glass fingerboard and fronts the sons-of-Cream rhythm section–namely, drummer Kofi Baker and bassist Malcolm Bruce.
