It seems like every single song on Z100’s primary playlist revolves around the concept of throwing and/or keeping one’s hands in the air, and half of them are by that Taio Cruz dude. He’s along for the ride at this annual charitable binge, where the pop music carronades are turned on a sold-out crowd, the better to fire Auto-Tuned grapeshot into the flanks of the willing and screaming. Headliners include our sad world’s Vocaloid-made-flesh, Justin Bieber; some fresh-faced, eager young tart named Katy Perry (apparently her jeans are tight or something); and Michael Buble, whose pop career appears foisted upon him. Are your hands in the air yet?
