Eddie Huang may have closed Xiao Ye and retreated to the warm and familiar confines of BaoHaus, but he’s not going gently into that good night: He has told Eater that he’s in the process of developing a TV show with High Noon Entertainment, the people responsible for Cake Boss. It’ll be a “personality-driven food culture and entertainment program” à la No Reservations, and will start shooting around New York next month. Huang has already promised to send Eater’s commenters a “DVD box set and a bag of dicks,” though he doesn’t specify if they’ll be sustainably sourced.
On a sort of related note, a Jonas Brother is appearing on Top Chef tonight, looking even prettier than Padma.
