Winter Cocktails Class
The Brooklyn Kitchen
Wednesday, December 15, 6:30 p.m.
Join Tom Chadwick of Dram in Williamsburg and Mayur Subbarrao of Mayahuel in the East Village for a primer on warming winter tipples. You’ll learn the basics of holiday punches, mulled wines, possets, and the coveted Tom & Jerry cocktail to help you kick-start the merrymaking this holiday season.
Through the end of 2010
Get a burger, fries, and a beer, daily from 6 to 8 p.m., for $15. Drinks are two-for-one, too, and, as an added bonus, the bar is featuring two holiday cocktails: Winter Nog spiked with Drambuie, Irish cream, fresh mint, and a candy cane garnish; and Santa’s Little Helper, made with Santa Teresa 11-year-old rum and Godiva dark chocolate shavings.
‘Cue the Christmas Music
Christmas Day, noon to midnight
The Fatty ‘Cue team, led by pitmaster Robbie Richter, is throwing an all-day BBQ with all the fixin’s. The restaurant will be transformed into an all-American roadhouse, featuring slow-roasted meats paying homage to barbecue styles from Carolina to Owensboro. Wash it all down with spiked Assam Wassel hot cider and coconut eggnog.
