‘House Ritual Presents Louie Vega+Jihad Muhammad’

by

Early Sunday parties are a beautiful house tradition. With the desperate Saturday night adventurers out of the club, tea dances are about music, dancing, and community. Little Louie Vega’s new night will no doubt live up to this institution. As a DJ (he played Studio 54 back in the day) and, with Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez, half of production/remix teams Masters at Work and Nuyorican Soul, Vega is something of an institution himself. For the party’s inaugural event, he’s invited Soul Records’ Jihad Muhammad to join him in dishing out disco, Afro-Latin, soul and, yes, house.
