Saveur Turns to Professionals for Its Annual Saveur 100


With only one day left to disseminate year-end ephemera, Saveur has released a preview of its annual Saveur 100. This year, they’ve handed the reins to the professionals, letting chefs like Dan Barber, Sara Jenkins, George Mendes, Daniel Humm, and Sara Moulton choose their favorite ingredients, restaurants, books, tools, etc. Our favorite? A tie between Craig Koketsu’s “Cheetos” and “Being Alone in My Restaurant” from Dinosaur Bar-B-Que’s John Stage.
