Shawn Peace, Sought for Shooting Livery Driver, Nabbed in Buffalo

Shawn Peace, the unlikely-named suspect in the brutal shooting of a livery driver last month, was nabbed in Buffalo this morning by the aptly named NYPD Violent Felony Squad. Peace, 22, is the suspect in the critical wounding on December 3 of Trevor Bell, 53, in South Ozone Park. Bell has told cops and reporters that he didn’t even have time to comply with the gunman’s demand for cash before the gunman shot him in the legs and neck and left him for dead.
