Fifteen years ago, the intrepid baritone recorded a CD devoted to the songs of Craig Carnelia and called it Cast of Thousands. He bowed the stage version at the late, lamented club Eighty-Eight’s. After having not thumbed through that songbook for sometime, he returns to it and is scheduled to reprise “Flight,” the superb ballad that many cabaret singers have found by now. Apparently, he’s also going to include new items from something of Carnelia’s titled “Actor, Lawyer, Indian Chief.” This combo of singer and songwriter is a hard one to beat.
