Mark your calendars immediately for the city’s best and yummiest-tasting event of all time. Now in its fourth year, Choice Eats is back and better than ever. Prepare to chow down on food from over 50 of New York City’s finest restaurants from all five boroughs, all handpicked by Our Man Sietsema.
Tickets for the March 29 event being held at the Armory are expected to sell out early, and will go on sale beginning January 26. Early-bird prices for VIP tickets will be $70 and general admission $35, which will then increase to $80 for VIP tickets and $45 for general admission. A portion of the sales from Choice Eats will be donated to Slow Food NYC.
This year’s VIP tickets will allow ticket holders to skip the line and gain entrance to an exclusive VIP room one hour early, at 5:30 p.m. General tickets enable noshing from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., complimentary beverages, entertainment, and all other sorts of deliciousness.
Additions to this year’s event also feature a very special dessert tasting hour called “Choice Sweets.” Another exciting aspect is “Choice Streets,” which will let people experience the best of the city’s food trucks outside the Armory while waiting to gain entry to the main event.
More information about the event, including a list of participating restaurants, can be seen on the Choice Eats website, with real-time updates on Twitter. And stay tuned to Fork in the Road for more information in the coming weeks about this fun and finger-licking event.
