The Internet giveth, but will it also taketh away? That is the question that must be asked in the bizarre case of comedian Craig Rowin, who sent out a video plea for someone to give him a million dollars—and now, Rowin claims a benevolent stranger has indeed stepped forward with the cash. Tonight, the mystery millionaire will be at Upright Citizens Brigade to give Rowin a check for $1 million with no strings attached. Rowin promises it will be quite a party, with music, comedy, and a free raffle—because he can totally afford to give away fun prizes now. But will there really be a check for $1 million or is this just a genius publicity stunt? One thing’s for certain—if it is true, we’ll never again make fun of people who read The Secret.
