Fork in the Road readers prove that they’re the original foodspotters, with this week’s answer correctly submitted by gargupie. Congratulations! Email me to claim to your cookbook.
The dish pictured was in fact the cold-water shrimp sandwich with dill dressing and a dollop of caviar (not the good stuff, but the OK stuff), which runs for $13 on the lunch and brunch menu of the Scandinavian mini-chain Smörgås Chef, although we had it at the one in the West Village. The shrimp are sweet and not overly loaded with dill, and served with a tangy potato salad.
Check back next week for a new installment of Where Am I Eating?
