Earlier this week, Lauren offered advice on procuring good Valentine’s Day chocolate. Thanks to the New Amsterdam Market, there will soon be another seasonal source for the cacao-fixated.
Though the market is closed for the season, it’s hosting a three-day Valentine’s Day mini-market from Saturday, February 12, through Monday, February 14. Open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at 224 Front Street (near the market’s regular outdoor digs), it will offer amorous wares from vendors including Liddabit Sweets, Mast Bros., the Bent Spoon, and Shandaken Bake. All of which sounds like sweet succor, regardless of whether you have anyone to share it with.
