New York City Commuters Are Getting Existential


It’s been a while since our last post applauding awesome New York signage, but here we are again! We especially like this one — posted on Subway Art Blog today after being noticed by an observant city dweller at Union Square — for its literary origins. Recognize the quote?

It’s from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince, which, fun tip, he wrote on our very own Long Island. The 6 train: Essential or not?
