This barefoot, stoner folksinger/comedian is the Marc Maron of the songwriting circuit and, after umpteen years on the road, he has only gotten weirder and more incisive with age. What you hear on Snider’s new double album, Live: The Storyteller, is what you’ll get at Joe’s: truly funny gay-, pot-, and working-man-friendly political commentary and social satire with an unusually human face. After this, you’ll miss Keith Olbermann a whole lot less.
