In their respective bands, Scott Kelly (of psych-metal progenitors Neurosis) and Wino (of doom-metal groups Saint Vitus and the Obsessed) are the voices of sheer terror. The former sounds like a Rage-aholics Anonymous escapee Hulking out, and the latter has a yowl like the drunk that won’t leave your favorite bar at closing time even though the lights are on. Tonight, they will be singing along to acoustic guitars and, surprisingly, they both become gentle giants when armed with a hollow-body. Just don’t make them mad. You might not like them when they’re mad. With Man’s Gin and Hunter Hunt-Hendrix of Liturgy.
