Winona Chiropractic Center in Winona, Minnesota, hired a web designer to create a site with which to advertise their business. Apparently, they didn’t follow through with the appropriate payments, so the web designer went back into the site and started recoding.
In case the site gets taken down (we’re sure it will), here’s the body text:
Yes Twitter folks, this is real. I built it on Thursday, Feb 3rd, 2011, but I really didn’t expect anyone to see it. Please note that I have waited years for this business to pay. I have hosted their site for free since about 2007. This is me giving up.
Winona Chiropractic has, as of January, 2011, failed to pay any of their total web design bill, despite repeated attempts by their web design agency to collect. It’s kind of sad that they seem to think that their website wasn’t worth any money. Their web designer is hoping that Google will show them otherwise.
Personally, I wouldn’t trust a doctor of any kind who couldn’t pony up for what, in the grand scheme of things, is a small charge for their web design. Do what you will, though.
